SAFEGUARDING IN PARTNERSHIP
Where CHOIRFIXER LIMITED works with children and young people it is operating as a supplier to a client and, as such, expexts the client to provide a suitable Safeguarding Policy.
In recognition that safeguarding policies may differ between clients, where a suitable policy is provided CHOIRFIXER LIMITED commits to sharing the Safeguarding Policy with any person(s) engaged by or otherwise under the supervision of CHOIRFIXER LIMITED for the purposes of the activity, project, event or booking in question, and requiring said person(s) to confirm that they have read and fully understood the Safeguarding Policy before undertaking the work.
CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will not engage in work with a client where a suitable Safeguarding Policy can not be provided.

DBS CHECKING
CHOIRFIXER LIMITED commits to ensuring that, where required, a DBS check for each person(s) engaged by or otherwise under the supervision of CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will be presented for inspection on request.

VIRTUAL CHOIRS & RECORDINGS
CHOIRFIXER LIMITED may need to collect and process the personal data of children and young people as part of a Virtual Choir Project or CD recording.
When a recording is made of a child, either in audio or video format, sensitive personal data is being stored and processed.
The name of a performer(s) and their voice part(s) may also be collected for later display in credits of a CD sleeve, or at the end of a Virtual Choir video.

RECORDINGS - OUR COMMITTMENT
- CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will not keep recordings for longer than is necessary for the purpose of delivering the project or requirements of a booking.
- CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will store recordings securely whilst processing the data.
- CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will only retain recordings where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.
- CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will not share recordings with anyone outside of the editing team.
- CHOIRFIXER LIMITED will report any inappropriate recordings to the client, or dedicated Safeguarding Officer, and will not proceed to process any inapproprite material.
